
The MASH resource centre operates from the Department of Mathematical Sciences but is available to all students in the University of Bath. The physical centre which is used for all core activity can seat 25 students. MASH operates a variety of approaches to support student learning, including the use of peer tutors. The peer tutors undergo a training programme run jointly by the Department of Mathematical Sciences and the Students Union SORTED training programme.
Facilities include
- Drop-in help for individuals with any mathematics or statistics problem in the base room (1WN3.23),
- Workshops by request of departments or students to cover core mathematical and statistical ideas and methods,
- Revision sessions, and
- Maths café: for quick help and support around campus
